Calabash

Explore a curated selection of my hand-painted calabash art. Every individual piece honors the unique, organic contours of natural gourds, elevated through intricate line work, deep pigments, and sculptural detailing. By painting directly onto these historic natural vessels, I transform organic forms into dynamic wall sculptures and decorative statement pieces that celebrate craftsmanship and future-forward design. Although most of the inspiration of these gourds comes from the Caribbean; I am also inspired by portraits and scenes of Africa.
